Just 50 kilometres east of Cologne, on the edge of the Bergisches Land Nature Park, the Nature Adventure Park and the Waldbröl Youth Hostel “Panarbora” have been created. Covering an area the size of eleven football fields, the Nature Adventure Park offers its guests a unique combination of facilities in Europe. Through experiences such as the treetop walkway with observation tower, the information centre with water and adventure playground, the Nature Adventure Academy, treehouses, and the global villages, Panarbora provides a comprehensive environmental education approach that extends beyond North Rhine-Westphalia. The aim of the DJH State Association Rhineland is to spark curiosity and encourage people to have their own experiences in nature.
The offerings are based on the two main pillars of Panarbora: experiencing nature and discovering foreign cultures.
